SR1014 Operating Principle of a Francis Turbine Fluids Engineering Training Equipment Teaching Equipment Didactic EquipmentI. Product overview
1.1 Overview
Francis turbine, also known as counterattack turbine, is one of the commonly used turbines. A water turbine is a power machine that converts the energy of water flow into rotating mechanical energy. It belongs to the turbomachinery in fluid machinery. The working principle of the impact turbine is to weld two or more water outlet curved pipes at the lower end of a conical cylinder. The conical cylinder can freely rotate around the central vertical axis and fill the cylinder with water. When the water flows out from the lower end of the curved pipe Produce acceleration along the direction of water flow. According to Newton's third law, the interaction force of water acts on the curved pipe. The cylinder rotates around the vertical axis under the action of the reaction force of the water flow until the water flow in the cylinder is exhausted.
1.2 Features
(1) The shell of the turbine is made of aluminum alloy, and the front part is made of acrylic mask, which can directly observe the internal structure of the turbine and the trajectory of the water flow in the turbine.
(2) It can directly load the turbine impeller, and read the load data directly through the tension gauge.
(3) The angle of the guide vanes of the turbine can be directly adjusted to obtain the turbine speed at different opening and closing degrees.
