I. Product Overview

1.1 Overview

This product provides controlled water flow for various laboratory experiment modules (available separately). The main body of the workbench forms a reservoir with a submersible pump. When the water level reaches a suitable level, it can meet the circulating water requirements for the experiment without the need for external water supply.

Two manual control valves regulate the water flow from the pump, and one of the manual valves is used as a relief valve. This can keep the circulating water path open and the water pump will not be overloaded when the experimental pipeline is closed due to accident. The electrical box on the side of the bench includes pump switches, circuit protection, power supply knowledge and digital flow display.

Four allow users to move around the classroom, and all four wheels have foot locks to hold the casters in place.

The liquid level viewing port on the underside of the workbench allows the user to check the water level within the tank.

The top work surface of the bench is provided with a multi-tube pressure gauge which includes:

(1) Venturi flowmeter is a commonly used device for measuring the flow of pressurized pipelines. It is a differential pressure flowmeter and is often used to measure the flow of fluids such as air, natural gas, coal gas, and water. It consists of 3 parts: “contraction section”, “throat” and “diffusion section”, and is installed on the pipe where the flow needs to be measured.

(2) Orifice plate flowmeters are equipped with orifice plates or nozzles and other throttling parts inside the pipeline. Since the aperture of the throttling part is smaller than the inner diameter of the pipe, when the fluid flows through the throttling part, the flow velocity cross section suddenly shrinks and the flow speed accelerates.

(3) The float flowmeter is a volumetric flow meter that measures the flow rate by changing the flow area between the floats in a vertical tapered tube as the flow rate changes. It is also called a rotameter.

The test bench consists of four parts: test cycle system, real-time system, electrical control system and bench. The product centrifugal pump selected for the test pump has a rated flow of 0-50L/min. This pump has the characteristics of compact structure, smooth operation, small flow and pressure pulsations, and low noise. It can provide sufficient and reliable power source for the test system, and cooperates with electrical Frequency conversion control can achieve stepless speed regulation within the rated flow range.

In order to ensure accurate test accuracy, the system is designed with two test flow sections.

1.2 Features

(2) The flow meter adopts a T-shaped structure, which is simple and easy to observe the experimental operation. Equipped with a multi-tube pressure gauge to facilitate detection of flow characteristics of different flow meters.

(3) The workbench adopts a precision centrifugal pump: power 750W, voltage single-phase 220V, flow rate 3m³/h, lift 22m, inlet and outlet diameter DN25X20.

(4) The entire box of the training platform is made of ABS plastic material, which is light in weight and high in strength.
